Ambrósio, a cooking butler
The main ideia of this page is to gather all the work I am doing in the context of my PhD thesis and the project of the Cooking Bulter (named Ambrósio).
The advantage of having a wiki is that all the people with the right access privileges can contribute with new ideas and relevant corrections. Ambrósio's project is going to be done with the team working on the House of the Future.

Cooking Butler
(first version)
To check wether the cooking domain can be included on the current spoken dialogue system, Filipe and Pedro, (two trainees) are working on a first prototype. This first version will be able to choose a recipe and read it to the user.

Cooking an Ontology
(building a new one)
The project of the PhD course on Knowledge sharing and reuse was to build an Ontology on Cooking named OntoChef. That work was done by: Joana Paulo, Nuno Mamede, Paula Vaz, Ricardo Ribeiro, Fernando Batista.

Dynamic integration of Ontologies
on Spoken Dialogue Systems
A methodology that eases the extension of a Spoken Dialogue system using Ontologies will be studied. Advantages this systems with domain knowledge will be measured. With this methodology, the extension of a system can be reduced to the construction of a new ontology.
